Our university’s first overseas exchange students have arrived in theirdestination, Ajou University in South Korea on August 28th,2013.
The four exchange students to Ajou University majoring in accounting got their opportunity to study abroad through a series of publicapplications, selections and interviews. Launched in 2012, our overseas student exchange projects have received extensive attention from both students and parents and we have got many applications. After the interview and examination sponsored by the specialists from Ajou University, two students got the full tuition waiver and the other two received 50% tuition grant. They will study in Ajou University for one semester.
The leaders of our University attach great importance to this overseasstudent exchange program. On the afternoon of August 27th, we held afarewell meeting for these four students. Professor Fan Xiaoping, deputy dean of our university, expressed his congratulations to these four exchange students, wishing them to study hard in Ajou University and present good image of Chinese university students. Professor Wang Yingmei,director of Teaching Office, gave the students some advice on course selecting and credit transferring. The meeting was held by Lin Fei, deputy director ofInternational Affairs Office.
This is our university’s first group of students studying abroad by the overseas exchange program.
