In the afternoon of March 26, 2014, Mr. Christopher Bond, Business School Executive of Roehampton University, visited our university, accompanied
with Mr. Fang Qiankun, Marketing Director of the Chinese Office in University of Roehampton. Professor Fan Xiaoping, the Vice President of our university,
met with Mr. Chris Bond in the Room 620 of the Office Building. Also present at the meeting were Ms. Wang Huaqiu, the Director of Finance Department,
Ms. Zhang Zhengyu, the Director of Industrial and Commercial Administration Department, and Ms. Ling Fei, the Deputy Director of the Office of
International Affairs.
Mr. Christopher Bond was introducing the basic information of University of Roehampton to the attendees
The negotiation was mainly about cooperative education between two universities and selection of young teachers in our university to the UK for
training. Professor Fan Xiaoping briefly introduced the primary information of our university to Mr. Bond, especially the information of Economics and
Management majors in our university. Mr. Bond made an introduction about the basic information of the University of Roehampton as well, particularly the
Business College of University of Roehampton, including the number of the students, the qualities of teachers, the fields of research, the discipline
construction and so on. Then the both parties negotiated the specific issues about the cooperation projects which have been developed and will be developed. Professor Fan Xiaoping expressed warm welcome to the visit of the delegation led by Mr. Christopher Bond and emphasized that the visit would deepen the
mutual understanding and promote bilaterally the communication and cooperation of two universities .

After the meeting, Mr. Christopher Bond came to the Classroom 313 of the Second Teaching Building and gave a splendid academic lecture to our
university's students. Mr. Bond, the Chief Lecturer of Business College of University of Roehampton, specializes in researching business organization and
management behavior direction. According to his recent published articles, Mr.Bond gave his speech concerning the effects of economic globalization on
business behaviors. The students of Marketing Management and International Trade majors attentively listened to and communicated with Mr. Bond face to
face. Although it was the first time for some students to communicated with a foreign professor in English, they benefited a lot from Mr. Bond's clear
language, diversified statements and humorous expressions. The atmosphere of the lecture was joyful and harmonious.
