With the Mid-Autumn Festival approaching, on the evening of September 13th, the Department of international

cooperation  and exchanges, on behalf of the collage to show our love, invitedall the foreign teachersto have

a joyous gathering together for celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival at Jinfeng hotel.

The foreign teachers of our college mainly come from the United States, Britain, Canada, Japan and some  other countries.  The teachers all committed themselves to industrious work, such as language teaching,  intercultural communicationand so on, which has benefited the students a lot.

    At the party,commissioned by the vice president Fan Xiaoping,Ling Fei, the deputy director of the Department

of international cooperation and exchanges, has expressed her heart felt thanks to all of the foreign teachers,and

has made a simple introduction to the origin of the Mid - Autumn Festival.

   She said that the festival contains Chinese good wishes for family union, and the foreign teachers should

take the collage as their home so as to cultivate students into applicable talents with high qualities through joint

efforts with other teachers.

  The American teacher, Josh and his wife, attended the party with theirmother and three children. Thanks to

the children, the party was quite interesting. They behaved actively, trying to know aboutthe name of Chinese

dish and even imitating the Chinese pronunciation of every name, which caused bursts of laughter.

With time flying by,the party also ended in laughter very soon. The foreign teachers all expressed their  gratitude in  response  to the love of the college, and they said that they were happy to have such a chance  to get to know more about   Chinese culture and they’ll go back to teaching work with more enthusiasm.
